The first time in fifty five years!!

Sorry fellas, I know this won't interest you!
but for the first since I was about five years old, that's fifty five years, I actually have nails of a decent length at the end of my fingers 88|
I have never even tried to grow them before, I was quite happy just chewing away!
I never tried to grow them this time either it's just that lately my sub-conscious has prevented me from putting anything 'foreign' into my mouth!( if you know what I mean )
So now I am the proud owner of nails that need manicuring, a delight i've never experienced before :DD

Perhaps I should hire a little man like this one to give me 'the works'

Go on, treat yourself....go get them done!

I used to go every 3 weeks to get my nails done as my treat to myself.

  I'll probably not have anything too fancy though 'cos I was told that when you have an operation they take all your nail varnish off

    Yes, they do actualy...and I know that because I did my nails, hands and feet before I went to hospital, only to get there and the nurses remove it all

Could you have it done after the op? Once you are up and about? Treat yourself to some serious pampering, manicure, pedicure, hot stone therapy/massage etc? Something to look forward to

Well good for you! Get a manicure done before you go to hospital. You will have all the interns eyeing you up (not because of your hands but because you look good!) and making t'old man jealous! x

A little man like that sounds good to me. Are there little ones who clean up cats' stuff such as their bowls, mats, mice etc?

They will make an interesting subject to photograph.
In dim light..maybe candle light.
Hand and Foot care is an interesting field
Could serve as a benchmark how much one is caring for oneself
