Wild birds' singing

Here's a few signs I spotted along the Spen Valley Greenway in Cleckheaton the other week

This is my favourite

Which reminds me that I hope to be hearing some wild birds of a different variety this weekend at Warwick Folk festival
In the line up there is Mercury prize nominee 'Rachel Unthank and the Winterset'
The fabulous Bella Hardy and one of my recent favourite female folk acts
Flossie Malavialle to name but three. There are many more female acts due to perform as well as many good bands.

  I hadn't either until recently.
  They are all from the new wave of young folk artists that are coming to the forefront lately.
  There should be an eclectic mix of young and old at the festival though.
