I stepped out my front door early this afternoon and noticed these open cupped tulips in the ground by the side of my step..."Wait" I said to kathy who had pulled up in her car to take me to Shipley for a Tribal dance workshop (they of the scary faces fame), "i'll have to take photos of these before the petals drop off".
We had a good three hour workshop and I wondered if I would be up to it as my chest still feels congested and a little tight but it was good as we did lots of stretching and deep breathing for a warm-up..must have done me good

Nice photos - I love tulips but I hate it when the get to the 'flat as a pancake' stage and petals fall off leaving horrible stumpy bits!
The workshop sounds fun!
