The dreaded pics!

Well, you know you're gonna get it...don't you?...My holiday snaps that is!

T'old man once said, after being made to look through hundreds of a friend's holiday pics, that there was nothing more boring than looking through album upon album of someone elses holiday snaps for although they may mean a lot to the owner they very rarely mean much to other people.

This said I must point out that I do like to post my pics mainly for my own amusement ...this being my blog and all...so sorry folks here we go

series 1
The first week I was there the streets of Valladolid were full of processions, dancing troupes, bands playing and "Penas" maurading. Here are a small selection of the people I snapped.

  yes, I made a special effort to snap them while they didn't notice me. Believe it or not they were sat opposite the tartan mob who are in the next group of pics!

  I agree they were particularly dour looking considering the racket which was about to begin. They were sitting on the edge of the square where the official start to the fiestas was about to take place , with gunshots to herald the beginning of the festivities....they have probably seen it all before though

oh it's great to see your pics....and yes....the four on the bench is particularly touching somehow...! I can tell you had a great time......ok...tartan lot then!!! lets be having 'em!!

    Yes Isa, that's a god thingy around here, people really enjoy colourful and fun things, maybe must be because it's a sunny place most the time i don't know but it's a joy yes

I also particularly like the two men and two women on the bench. At first it amused me to see the women deep in conversation and the men looking at something. Having looked at your next post, I now reckon they are looking at the tartan girl!

  I particularly liked the look on the face of the girl with the folded arms in the 3rd pic. The procession had stopped for a few minutes and she looked really cheesed off!lol
