On Time !!

I left 'EL Molino' by car exactly on time at 9.15 a.m to drop the kids off at school.
From there I was then dropped off at the airport with exactly two hours to go to flight take off.
The 12 o'clock flight from Villanubla, Valladolid,Spain left bang on time, it arrived at Stanstead ten minutes early.
The 14.25 train from Stanstead airport to Birmingham left right on cue and arrived at Peterborough five mins early.
I had to wait half an hour for a connexion and had to let an earlier train go as I had an advanced fixed ticket...but no hardship as the sun came out so I sat on the station platform quite happily (and no flamin' mozzies).
The connecting 16.26 train from Kings cross to Leeds arrived at Peterborough one minute early and kept good time all the way home.
The taxi I caught at approx. 6 pm took ages to get me home and crept along the roads at a snail's pace whilst the meter kept spinning round greedily.
Ah well, i'm home now, t'old man seems pleased to see me and made me a welcome cuppa....ahh...t'was only a dream :D

What a complicated journey!

More of a time consuming journey than complicated :yes:
I had a smashing time thanks. I'll be boring everyone with my holiday pics for the next few posts I expect;)

Good to know you are back. Did you have a good time in Spain?
Perhaps the English taxi driver seemed so slow because the Spanish ones go fast?

Thanks, I had a fab time if not somewhat a little exhausting...comes with not being used to having two lively kids around me constantly.
No, it wasn't the taxi driver's fault, it was the rush hour !!and in Spain two thirds of our daily journeys were usually along deserted country roads:)

Funny I was just thinking about about 10 minutes ago when we were in A*da.

I think it had something to do with the greater wearing pink pyjamas (as were most of the staff) - I wouldn't go back to work just yet if I were you ;)

The complete journey took the best part of the day although the flight only took 1 hour 55 mins....pretty good for a flight from Stanstead London to the heart of Castilla :yes:
