If the wind don't stop me!!

The suitcase is packed, everything that needed to be done has been done but I keep fighting this sense of foreboding that keeps appearing. Somehow it doesn't feel quite right going to an area as a tourist when there is so much conflict in the surrounding region,it's not the fear of any attacks that bothers me more an uneasiness at the plight of the people.

Maybe this feeling will fade when I actually arrive..if I arrive that is! I have a train to catch departing for Birmingham airport at 10 am tomorrow morning but storms and strong winds have been forecast with probable transport disruptions
If there's a God then he doesn't want me to go to Egypt it took me nearly ten years to arrange another trip there after the compulsory cancellation of my 1997 holiday due to the Luxor massacre and now he's trying to put another obstacle in my way

  Thanks, We will be "going for it" but I keep hearing about these
  70 mph gusts that are due to arrive just as I will be setting out for the airport ( 100+ mile)and keep wondering if we'll get to the airport at all.

I think sometimes the weather forecasters predict the worst possible scenario to err on the side of caution.

  Oh I do hope you're right about erring on the side of caution. Me and t'old man have agreed not to think about it any more, just going to get up in the morning and take it from there.

I hope that you do get there all right, but it is rather stressful for you not knowing if you will. The chances are pretty strong that you will, you might be a little delayed, but I think you'll get there in the end. Hope you have a great time. x

Have a fantastic time.
Seems it's difficult to fly anywhere these days. Weather, terrorism, whatever, not fate.
Egypt will be fantastic. I'd love to go there. You are lucky.
Just don't come back (bigamously, in your case) engaged to a young Russian like Bonnie's brother did.

The wind will be behind your airplane and get you there quicker.

I am sooo jealous. Snorkel on the coral for me, and say hi to the pyramids. tell em I'll be there this year

have a fantastic time, you have waited so long. It honeslty is heaven and the people are soo nice

If God wants you there, you'll get there! The people are wonderfully warm and friendly, and they depend on tourism.
